Owner
Emily began Lamplight Design Studios in 2022 with the encouragement of her colleagues. In 2007, she parleyed a background in Fine Art and a Masters Degree in Theater Production Management into residential design.
Emily gathers and processes what she needs to inform the big picture, as well as all the subtle nuances of Interior Design. In creating her designs and layouts, she considers lifestyle as much as aesthetics to ensure the best possible design for her clients.
Caleb's construction experience encompasses over 32 years in the residential and commercial construction field in California and Colorado. He is currently working just outside of Boulder, Co as a Construction Superintendent. Caleb's construction expertise coupled with residential homes knowledge is invaluable for the success of our clients' projects.

Alan
Lead Architect
As a licensed architect and Virginia Tech graduate, Alan has an almost ten year background at some of the most prestigious firms in the Washington DC area. He has worked on numerous residential and commercial projects, both domestically and abroad.
He enjoys marrying the aesthetic aspects of a project with the functional, and shepherding his projects through to a successful completion. He is known for being the first one at the office, the last one to leave, and meticulously dives into the details to ensure that the project will function correctly once completed.
