Ednam Addition
This project was an expansive addition to a stately, yet dated 1960's home in Charlottesville's Boar's Head community.
The Problem
The Contractor came to us asking for a conceptual set of plans and layouts, which later translated to a full rendering package and targeted interior design selections. The intention was to save the house, bring it into the 21st Century, and then sell it.
The Solution
Through a collaborative, client-focused approach, we listened to the Contractor as they told us their vision for the new home. We worked hand-in-hand with them to ascertain the parts of the house that needed to be updated, what market trends existed within the community, and what that would all mean for an addition and the contents therein.
The Process
Beginning with an idea, the Contractor met with our team and together we laid out multiple options for an addition to this home. Using their construction expertise, we collaborated with the Client for every step of the process. Once a layout was selected, we worked hand-in-hand with their designers to create a rendering package with limited material selections.
The Outcome
When their hammers stopped swinging and the dust settled, the Contractor ended up with an updated, fully restored home that is ready for the Charlottesville market.
